Lady Mary 'zoomed' for the Highgate Literary and Scientific Institution at 4pm on 14th March and via Chawton House, Hampshire for the Adventurous Eighteenth Century Wives Conference on 14th and 15th May 2021, she provided the evening's entertainment on Friday 14th May. Digital Conference: Adventurous Wives in the Long C18 ~ Chawton House There was well attended discussion - also attended by Jo Willett, author of the biography Mary Wortley Montagu, Scientist and Feminist.
In November 2019, I performed Lady in a Veil in the dining room at Chawton House front of the elegant fireplace and her portrait. A cropped image of the portrait at Chawton heads this blog. In the afternoon I gave a workshop based on writing historical characters. Attendees ranged from ages 15 to 65 and all offered and developed some fascinating material.
